After only being featured in two sets during her freshman season, Treyanna-Lee Freitas returns to her home state to play volleyball for Hawaii.

In her 2016 campaign, Freitas played in two sets for Washington State, serving an ace against Maryland Eastern Shore.

During her prep career, Freitas was an all-around player for King Kekaulike High as an outsider hitter, libero and setter. She was a three-time All-District D1 First Team selection, two-time All-District D1 Player of the year and runner-up as a sophomore. Freitas helped lead King Kekaulike to back-to-back Maui Interscholastic League title as a junior and senior – being named as the Player of the Year each year. Freitas was named to the 2015-16 Under Armour All-American honorable mention team.

On top of her volleyball career, Freitas graduated with honors as a magna cum laude recipient, receiving awards in geometry, physical education and graphics.
