Tulane will spend its last weekend of the regular season making a return trip to South Carolina, this time for the Palmetto Invitational in Columbia. The Green Wave will face three conference opponents in UNC Wilmington, College of Charleston and No. 12 South Carolina while also playing a rematch with Jacksonville State at the Wheeler Beach courts.

ABOUT THE PALMETTO INVITATIONAL

Tulane went 3-1 in last weekend’s Houston Baptist Invitational, sweeping both Texas A&M Kingsville and Central Arkansas while falling just shy of an upset over No. 7 LSU. At 18-9 overall, the Green Wave enter the weekend just two wins shy of hitting the 20-win mark for the second time in program history after finishing at 20-15 last season.

The Green Wave kick off their final regular-season tournament with College of Charleston on Fridaymorning for the second meeting between the two teams this year. Tulane leads the all-time series 4-2 despite narrowly falling to the Cougars earlier this year on their home courts.

Later that afternoon, Tulane will match up with the hosting Gamecocks on their senior day. No. 12 South Carolina currently sits at 17-7 on the year with an 8-5 mark in the CCSA following a 2-2 outing at the Staybridge Suites Invitational in Tallahassee, Florida. In their last meeting, Tulane dropped a 1-4 decision to the Gamecocks at the Tiger Beach Challenge in March.

Day two will be an early start for Wayne Holly and his squad with an 8:00 a.m. dual against Jacksonville State. The Green Wave are undefeated all-time against the Gamecocks, including a 2-0 mark this season on a pair of match sweeps.

Tulane will play its last match of the regular season against CCSA foe UNC Wilmington, as the teams pick up where they left off at the College of Charleston Beach Classic three weeks ago. In their last meeting, Tulane came away with a match sweep of the Seahawks, who currently sit at 11-7 on the year after splitting a pair of duals last Saturday.
