After opening practice on May 1, the U.S. Women’s National Team will see its first action outside of the practice gym, when it plays the first of four scheduled Red-Blue intrasquad scrimmages Friday in Murrieta, California.

The event, which will take place at 7 p.m. PT at Murrieta Mesa High School, will offer fans their first look at the team in a match setting. Team USA is slated for a friendly match with the Canadian National Team on June 13, the 2017 USA Volleyball Cup, August 27-29, and the FIVB Grand Champions Cup in Japan in September.

Other intrasquad events scheduled are scheduled for May 19 (St. Margaret’s Episcopal School), May 26 (Santiago Canyon College; Orange, California), and June 2 (Kennedy High School; La Palma, California). The May 26 scrimmage is a doubleheader with the U.S. Men’s National Team.
