The Porec Major featured a number of matches that took place after the sun set for the evening.
The winners of Porec were Gustavo “Guto” Carvalhaes and Pedro Solberg of Brazil, writing FIVB World Tour history with their win. The pair is only the second team in the history of the World Tour to start in a country quota match and win the tournament. On the women’s side of the tournament, Canada’s Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes won their first major of the season.
