After recording her 1,000th career kill last week, senior outside hitter Simone Lee sat down with the Big Ten Network’s Women’s Sports Report to talk all things Penn State volleyball.

Lee discusses the team’s current win streak, No. 1 ranking and her individual milestone.

Even in celebrating her 1000th kill, Lee was quick to point out her teammates and team goals, while also expressing her excitement for the achievement.

Lee, a first team All-American and unanimous All-Big Ten selection in 2016, talked about adding another national championship to her 2014 experience and how team chemistry may help the Nittany Lions get there.

On the softer side, Lee says there is nothing better than being happy and having a serious personality on the court but a bubbly personality off it and spreading happiness makes her career more fun.
