While in Porec, Croatia, beach volleyball superstar Kerri Walsh Jennings met up with German handballer Christian Dissinger to learn a little about each of their sports.
The two are very well crafted in their respective sports.
Dissinger and the German squad took the bronze medal in handball in 2016, while they took the gold medal at the 2016 European Championships. Walsh Jennings has had an impressive go around in beach volleyball, with three gold medals (2004 Athens, 2008 Beijing and 2012 London) as well as a recent bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
The two players are very different in age, with Walsh Jennings being 38 while Dissinger is only 25. Despite the age difference, Dissinger has had more wear and tear on his body, having 10+ surgeries in his lifetime from playing handball. Walsh Jennings, however, has only had five surgeries, but they have all been on her right shoulder, her hitting arm.
