ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle begins their Pool A journey at the 2017 FIVB Men’s Club World Championships with Sarmayeh Bank Teheran. The competition will feature three days of pool play with the top two teams in each pool advancing to the semifinals then finals.
ZAKSA has made their first-ever Club Worlds following their Polish national title, giving them the automatic berth into the tournament. Italian setter Benjamin Toniutti will be leading the shots for the Polish squad.
Sarmayeh Bank is making their debut at Club Worlds as the 2016 Asian Champions. The squad will be lead by Polish standout Lukasz Zygadlo and Iranian national teamers Farhad Ghaemi and Mojtaba Mirzajanpour.
