Week 4 – USA Today Super 25 Rankings

Week four of high school volleyball has concluded and USA Today has released their Super 25 expert rankings. Mater Dei High School remains number one and undefeated through the fourth week of play.

Big jumps

  • Midway High School (Waco) jumped to #2 from ninth on the list after wins on the road to Waxahachie, Granbury and Hendrickson
  • Santa Margarita improved to #7 from tenth after taking third at the Durango Classic
  • Walton High School jumped to #9 from fourteenth, they took fifth at the Durango Classic
  • St. Thomas Aquinas High School takes #11 from sixteenth after taking ninth at the Durango Classic, with their only loss at the tournament coming to runner-up Xavier Prep

Super 25 debuts

  • Archbishop skyrocketed to #3 after winning the Durango Classic in Las Vegas
  • Xavier College Preparatory took second at the Durango Classic earning them a #6 spot on the list
  • Torrey Pines High School – San Diego joins the list at #10 after taking sixth at the Durango Classic
