The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers are one of the best mid-major volleyball teams in the country, and they are ranked in the top 30 teams pre-season in both the AVCA (#27) and VolleyMob national polls.

But volleyball isn’t all they’re good at. Over the summer, the team also honed their skills at telling really bad jokes. So much so, that some of their bad jokes actually became a little bit good.

Western Kentucky will begin their season on-the-court on August 16th with a road exhibition matchup against #14 Kentucky, complete with a roster than includes 4 new freshmen, 2 returning AVCA All-Americans, and 1 returning U.S. Junior National Team member. The competition season formally begins on August 25th against Southern Illinois in Oxford, Ohio. Between now and then, they’ll be rolling out videos of the competition, approximately once per day, to build hype for the beginning of the season.
