Pepperdine Sweeps WCC Beach Yearly Awards

Following another record-setting season and its third straight berth in the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship, No. 2 Pepperdine dominated the All- West Coast Conference and major individual honors as announced today. The Waves swept all four major honors and placed five on the first team.

UCLA’s McNamaras Named Pac-12 Pair of the Year, USC’s Graudina Rookie

UCLA junior Nicole McNamara was voted Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Player of the Year and is part of the duo that was voted Pac-12 Pair of the Year with her twin sister Megan McNamara, the Conference office announced today. USC’s Tina Graudina was voted the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year while UCLA’s Stein Metzger was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year for the second-straight year.

ESPN Networks to Broadcast NCAA Beach Championships Beginning Friday

In an upgrade from the 2017 coverage, all 14 matches will be broadcast live, an improvement over a three-hour timeslot on day one and two. The broadcasts also will be coming on the ESPN family of networks, vs. truTV, which aired the preliminary matches and TBS which showed the championship match.
