Day 1 of the 2016 NCAA Women’s Volleyball Tournament is in the books, and the day went largely to chalk. All 4 of the seeded teams that played won their first round games easily, and generally speaking favorites won – with Purdue over Iowa State maybe being a small upset.
6 of the entries in the VolleyMob Bracket Challenge still have perfect brackets. Friday has a higher propensity for mayhem with 28 games coming, including 4 second-round games where the winners will advance to the second round.
