The first fourth sets were a back and forth battle until Nova absolutely dominated the fifth set, earning its fifth straight win in the process. They have vaulted up the league standings into fourth place overall.
Player of the Week: Viktor Poletaev
The 22-year-old Poletaev had a huge match, collecting 23 points including four aces as Kuzbass took down a four-set decision against Yenisei. The total points were a high for the ninth round and the four aces tied for week-high honors.
