No. 1 UCLA picked up another Top 10 victory, downing No. 6 Long Beach State on the road Thursday to wrap the regular season, while No. 16 Grand Canyon bested Pac-12 foe Utah in their first home match in over a month.
Not only did the Bruins extend their school record dual match win streak to 26, the team bumped their season record to 31-3, also a school high-water mark.
Keeping with the record-setting efforts, Court 5 pair Izzy Carey and Megan Muret won their school record 26th straight match and now boast the team’s best mark at 29-5.
It was top duo Megan McNamara and Nicole McNamara, however, who notched a straight-set win to seal the victory, moving to 28-8 on the year. Meanwhile, Court 2 duo Lily Justine and Sarah Sponcil won their 11th straight match and climbed to 27-7 on the season.

GCU took the rest of the matches, all in straight sets, in its first home match since March 10.
