SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Volleyball Player of the Week for November 14, 2016.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – AMY BOSWELL, SR., MB – BYU
Senior middle blocker Amy Boswell helped propel No. 12 BYU women’s volleyball to a pair of wins last week against Gonzaga and Portland to jump into a tie for first place in West Coast Conference play.
Against the Bulldogs, Boswell contributed 14 kills while hitting at a .435 clip to go along with three blocks, two digs and an ace. Then, in a sweep of the Pilots, she added double-digit kills again with 10 while chipping in a match-high six blocks.
On the week Boswell averaged 3.43 kills per set while hitting at a .400 clip to go with 1.29 blocks per set.
