Canada Names 12-Man Roster for 2018 NORCECA Junior Championships

Volleyball Canada has announced their 12-man roster for the 2018 NORCECA U-21 Men’s Volleyball Championship next week in Cuba. The tournament, which will serve as a qualifier for the 2019 U21 World Championships, will feature 8 teams from the NORCECA region: Barbados, Canada, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti, Nicaragua and United States.

Canada has medaled at all but two editions of the biannual tournament since  it launched in 1998. Canada were the champions in both that 1998 tournament, and, after missing the podium in 2000, they also won the 2002 tournament.

Canada took silver int he tournament at four straight editions from 2008-2014, before a bronze in 2016.
