Canadian Pro Daniel Dearing Gets New Title- Coach

Daniel Dearing, professional Canadian beach volleyball player, is taking on a new title- Head Coach.

Dearing has accepted the position of the new Head Coach of the Brampton Pakmen team. He’s getting back to his roots, having fallen in love with volleyball while playing for the Mississauga Pakmen Volleyball Club.

As a veteran of the club, Dearing has specific qualifications on how to help the youngsters achieve their dreams.

While playing for Pakmen, Dearing led the team to an 18U National Championship, as well as a college scholarship.

While taking some time off to heal from injuries, he can mull over returning to the professional fold for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Dearing and his beach volleyball partner, Garrett May, were once ranked third in Canada.

During his tenure as head coach, Dearing will be overseeing all of the club programs with the 10-15 athletes enrolled in each program. From ages 5-9 and up to teenagers, he will have the opportunity to help mold the lives, and possibly careers, of young athletes.

Pakmen is a nationally renowned club and claims to be the largest in Canada. In the clubs history, they’ve won 58 Provincial, 10 internation and 26 National titles, both indoor and outdoor, since foundation in 2002. Dearing is just one of the Pakmen alumni that the young athletes will aspire to be.
