The Playoffs stage matches of the men’s and women’s Champions League have been determined, with Zenit Kazan and CSM Volei Alba Blaj hosting the Final Four.
The women’s competition will feature the home matches on March 20-22 followed by the away matches from April 3-5. The first placed teams from the pool play stage of the competition are playing the second match and a potential golden set at home. The semifinals of the tournament will take place on May 5 followed by the finals on May 6.
There are some tough matchups in the Playoffs stage:
- Imoco Volley Conegliano vs. Dinamo Kazan
- Galatasaray SK Istanbul vs. Igor Gorgonzola Novara
- Volero Zurich vs. VakifBank Istanbul
CSM Volei Alba Blaj will await these teams in the semifinals where they will take on the winner of the Galatasaray/Novara match.
On the men’s side of the competition, the Playoffs 12 home matches will take place from March 14-16 while the away matches will occur from March 20-22. The winners of these matches will move on to the Playoffs 6 with the home matches taking place from April 3-5 and the away matches from April 10-12. The playoff 12 matches are as follows:
- Halkbank Ankara vs. Sir Safety Conad Perugia
- Noliko Maaseik vs. Lokomotiv Novosibirsk
- PGE Skra Belchatow vs. Cucine Lube Civitanova
- Chaumont VB 52 Haute Marne vs. Diatec Trentino
- Jastrzebski Wegiel vs. Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle
- Berlin Recycling Volleys vs. VfB Friedrichshafen
The Playoffs 6 will determine the three teams that will join Zenit Kazan in the Final Four that will take place from May 12-13.
