Former Michigan State outside hitter Chloe Reinig is heading out West, where she has committed to play beach volleyball for Loyola Marymount.
Reinig, a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, announced the move on her Instagram account, March 30.

In her four-year career with the Spartans, Reinig registered 1,259 kills (3.05 per set) , while adding 301 blocks (0.73 per set) and 231 digs.
As a senior at MSU, Reinig put down 2.72 kills per set, while hitting .215 and adding 0.88 blocks per set. The 6-4 outside hitter garnered honorable mention all-conference accolades as a junior, tallying 3.03 kills and 0.63 blocks per set.
Reinig was an Honorable Mention All-America, first team All-North Region and first team All-Big Ten selection as a sophomore in 2014, ranking fourth in the Big Ten with 3.70 kills per set, while hitting .233 on the season and averaging 0.91 digs and 0.70 blocks per set .
The South Lyon, Michigan, native was an All-Big Ten Freshman Team selection in 2013 after posting 2.60 kills and 0.69 blocks per set.
