Cornerstone’s Zwart, Ottawa’s Berry Tabbed NAIA National Players of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kendra Zwart of Cornerstone (Mich.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week as well as the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Defender of the Week and Morgan Berry of Ottawa (Kan.) has been named the NAIA National Volleyball Setter of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. The duo was selected based on their performances from Oct. 22-28 and were chosen out of a pool of conference and Association of Independent Institution winners.

Attacker & Defender of the Week

Kendra Zwart, Cornerstone
6-3, SR, MB, Jenison, Mich.

  • Zwart helped her team to an undefeated week. The middle blocker recorded her second most kills in a single match with 25 kills against RV Lourdes (Ohio).

Setter of the Week

Morgan Berry, Ottawa
