Courtney Schwan of Washington Named Pac-12 Player of the Year

Courtney Schwan is the second Washington Husky to be named Pac-12 Player of the Year in the past four years. With their second Pac-12 Championship in a row, Schwan broke 1 conference record when she hit 27 kills against UCLA, a new conference high in 4 sets. She was voted named the Offensive Player of the Week twice this season and was named to the All-Pac-12 team.

Kathryn Plummer is the second-straight Stanford player to win the Freshman of the Year award. Plummer is second in the conference in kills per set, averaging 3.24. She was named Freshman of the Week three times this season, as well as Offensive Player of the Week last month.

Taylor Formico is took the Libero of the Year award for the second straight year, and now holds four of the six total titles in this category since starting in 2010. She leads the entire conference in digs percent, averaging 5.03.
