Current Men’s CEV Champions League Standings

After the fourth leg of the CEV Volleyball Champions League has been completed across all five pools, a clearer playoff picture is starting to emerge.

The Champions League is made up of the top teams from several European countries that after winning their national championship, or being selected as the best team in the nation, are awarded a spot in the competition.

There are currently two more legs of competition in the league round before the top 12 enter playoffs. That will eventually be dwindled down to the top 6, and then ultimately the top 4 where they will compete in the semi-finals and finals to be crowned the 2016 champion.

Currently, after four legs, these are the current standings of the five pools:

  2. Dinamo Moscow (2-2) 6 pts
  3. Istanbul BBSK (1-3) 4 pts
  4. Noliko Maaseik (1-3) 2 pts

Pool B

  1. Cucine Lube Civitanova (3-1) 9 pts
  2. Berlin Recyling Volleys (2-1) 7 pts
  3. Asseco Resovia Rzesow (2-2) 4 pts
  4. Dukla Liberec (0-3) 1 pts

Pool C

  1. Zenit Kazan (4-0) 12 pts
  2. Arkas Izmir (3-1) 7 pts
  3. Vfb Friedrichshafen (1-3) 3 pts
  4. Paris volley (0-4) 2 pts

Pool D

  1. Azimut Modena (4-0) 11 pts
  2. PGE Skra Belchatow (2-2) 6 pts
  3. S.C.M.”U” Craiova (1-3) 4 pts
  4. ACH volley Ljubljana (1-3) 3 pts

Pool E

  1. Sir Sicoma Colussi Perugia (4-0) 10 pts
  2. Belogorie Belgorod (2-2) 7 pts
  3. Knack Roeselare (2-2) 7 pts
  4. Halkbank Ankara (0-4) 0 pts

The fifth leg of competition will take place February 14-16, while the sixth leg will take place slightly after that from March 1-3. Following the sixth leg, the 12 teams that will be going to playoffs will be selected.
