The 2017 ESPNU NCAA Women’s Division I Volleyball Selection Show will again air on ESPNU. The bracket for the national championship tournament will be released on Sunday, November 26th beginning at 9PM Eastern Time. The opening rounds of the NCAA tournament will take place beginning the following weekend – from November 30th-December 2nd.

The semi-finals and finals (final 4) of the tournament will be held at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri on December 14th and 16th. Those games will air on ESPN2.

The volleyball tournament selections have recently been given a treatment along the lines of the highest-profile collegiate sports. That includes this year the selection committee releasing a top 10 ranking on November 1st during a televised match between Teas and Kansas State on ESPNU.

The NCAA also aired a live online selection show last Sunday for the D3 tournament bracket reveal, and on November 20th they’ll host a live online Division II bracket reveal show (link will appear here when available).

The tournament creation includes 16 seeded teams that earn the right to host the first two rounds of the tournament in their home arenas. The winner of each 4-team bracket advances to the regional tournaments on December 8th and 9th. The regional tournaments, at non-predetermined campus sites, typically go to the highest-remaining seed of the 4 participating teams.
