Bundesliga’s Wiesbaden has just announced in its official website the signing of former Michigan State standout Holly Tolliver. The 6’2″ outside hitter will be transferring out of Peru’s Regatas Lima, where she played her first professional season, finishing third in the country’s domestic league, and grabbing up a spot in the South American Club Championship’s Dream Team.

Here is how Tolliver reacted to the news:

“It has always been one of my goals to play volleyball professionally in Germany. I’m very excited about that and I’m looking forward to Wiesbaden. Thank you very much for giving me this wonderful opportunity, I can not wait for the season to start.”

Her new coach Dirk Groß, was likewise very excited:

“Holly is a left-handed player with good punch. It was not easy to sign her up because she had really good offers from other European clubs. Our good reputation contributed for her to choose us. We will succeed for sure. After all, we’ve had a great experience with college players.

Tolliver earned AVCA All-America Honorable Mention honors in her senior season and was a member of the 2017 USA Volleyball Collegiate National Team.

“I came to win, to fight, to conquer, to thrive I came to win, to survive, to prosper, to rise” • • • Off to Germany next season!🇩🇪 @vc_wiesbaden #NoShortcuts
