Foton has now secured another player for their team prior to the start of the Philippines Superliga Grand Prix that is set to begin on February 17 in Gen Casugod.

Casugod is another transfer coming out of Generika-Ayala and is filling a gap that was left void by Jaja Santiago and EJ Laure. Just the other day it was announced that Chloe Cortez would be joining Petron’s team from Generika-Ayala while they also snagged Princess Gaiser. There have been a number of transfers in the Philippines Superliga prior to the start of the Grand Prix, as the competition conflicts with many of team’s regular players as they compete in the UAAP.

Though it is reported by volleyverse that Casugod has not signed a formal contract yet, it is said that she reported to train with the team today. This was a sign for the club that she was ready to commit with the team for the remainder of the season.

With Casugod on the team, Foton now has the tallest front row in the league, making them a dangerous front defensively and offensively.

Foton’s team manager has also been reported to say that the team is still looking for pin hitters for the coming season and that the squad will announce the addition of two more players in the days to come.
