Greece swept Azerbaijan to maintain an absolutely perfect record after three matches in Pool G. It hit an astonishing 72% from the field (48/67) while holding Azerbaijan to a 33% (22/66) effort. The total dominance in which is presenting itself over its pool opponent got into Georgios Petreas, Greece’s captain, head:
“The level of our team is shown in every game. We are a lot better than the other three teams in our pool. We did not suddenly become a super team, but we are now showing what we are capable of.”
