The IOC has received the the third and final set of bid documents from Los Angeles, Paris, and Budapest by the February 3rd deadline, confirming their bids for the 2024 Olympic Games.

With the final documents now available, the bidding organizations are free to begin international promotion, and publicize their messages to any audience targeting anyone from IOC members to stakeholders to the general public in order to convince them in favor of their bid.

These documents that were just sent to the IOC include information about the themes of game delivery, experience and venue legacy. The IOC bid Evaluation committee will now be reviewing these documents to get a better understanding of how each host city plans to organize and implement the hosting of their Games.

The IOC now holds all of the necessary documents to review. Now, their next step will be to visit the host cities themselves. The Evaluation Commission will be in Los Angeles on April 23, Budapest on May 10, and Paris on May 14.

Following the visits, IOC members, the Evaluation Commission, along with Summer Olympic International Federations will participate in the candidate city briefing at the IOC headquarters in Luasanne, Switzerland. There, each potential host city will make a presentation to offer more insight into their plans.

The official host city will be elected on September 13th at an IOC event in Lima, Peru.

If either Los Angeles or Paris is awarded the Games, it will mark the third time either city has hosted the Games, tying it with London for hosting the most Games in one city. If Budapest is awarded the Games, then it will mark the first time that the Games have ever been in Hungary.
