Poland is set to host the European Championships that will begin this week. A player to keep an eye on throughout the competition is Poland’s, Michal Kubiak.

Recently, Poland finished in eighth place at the 2017 FIVB World League in Group 1, missing out on the Final Six. During the opening rounds of play, Kubiak posted 92 points on 79 kills, six blocks and seven aces. Kubiak’s strong arm on the outside will bring a spark to the Polish crew at the competition alongside Dawid Konarski, who is expected to post big numbers for the Poles.

Poland finished in fifth place at the 2015 edition of the European Championships ahead of Russia. At the 2017 Championships, Poland will take on Finland, Estonia and Serbia in Pool A.
