Le Jardin Wins First Hawaii High School State Championship

The Hawaii high school state tournament concluded on October 29.

Taking their first ever state championship, in any sport, Le Jardin fought to take down four-time defending state champions Hawaii Baptist in five sets. Four players from Le Jardin made it onto the all-tournament team: Kassidy Naone, Arianna Lunow-Luke, Julia Fisher and Nina Krupa who was voted most outstanding player.

‘Iolani took down Hawaii powerhouse Kamehameha in four sets. Elena Oglivie ended her freshman season with 23 kills, earning all-tournament most outstanding player honors. Teammate Saige Ka’aha’aina-Torres followed behind with 22 kills, also being named to the all-tournament squad.

‘Iolani def. Kamehameha 3-1, 26-24, 21-25, 25-18-25-14
