ATLANTA – Lipscomb’s Carlyle Nusbaum, Stetson’s Hao Jin and Lilly Kruse of Liberty earned this week’s ASUN Conference Volleyball awards as announced by the league office on Monday.

Nusbaum continues to add to one of the most decorated careers in the history of ASUN Volleyball, as she takes home her ASUN record 12th career Player of the Week award. She is now just one more away from tying Lipscomb Men’s Golfer Dawson Armstrong for most weekly honors in conference history. This past week, Nusbaum was spectacular for the Bisons, leading them to a 3-0 week. In the process, she recorded three double-doubles, tallied 45 kills, 4.09 kills/set, 43 total digs and 3.91 digs/set. She now has 13 double-doubles this season, which leads the conference. Nusbaum also leads in kills/set with an average of 4.12. For her career, Nusbuam sits with 1,665 total kills, which sit alone in third place in ASUN history.

Hao Jin lead the Hatters to a thrilling upset of the ASUN’s top team, the Kennesaw State Owls. Against the Owls, Jin did a little of everything, as she tallied eight kills, two digs and a team-high six blocks. Jin was also an integral part in helping Stetson out hit KSU .310 to .169. Stetson’s win over Kennesaw State was their first since 2015. This season, Jin leads the conference in block solos and ranks sixth in total blocks.

Lilly Kruse earns the first-ever Freshman of the Week award in Liberty history. She played a key role in extending the Flames’ win streak to six, contributing at the net and at the service line. In Tuesday’s non-conference win over Maryland-Eastern Shore, she served up three aces in a row to spark a rally and erase a 10-8 deficit, which would not be relinquished. For the week, she finished with 15 total kills and 15 total digs, to go along with five total aces and four blocks.
