Philippine Superstar Alyssa Valdez Returns To Creamline

The Philippines’ biggest volleyball star, Alyssa Valdez, is making her way back to her home-country after a brief stint in Taiwan’s domestic league, according to Cbs-abn.com. The 5’9″ outside hitter, also a member of the The Philippines national team, will be once again captaining Creamline Cool Smashers’s squad. Here is what she had to say about her return:

Creamline supported my foreign endeavors, allowing me to explore my horizons. In 2018, I will give my whole commitment, time, and effort to Creamline. We will have to work hard on our team chemistry.

Last season, Valdez led Creamline to a bronze medal finish at the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Open Conference. She was also the tournament’s MVP and best outside hitter.

Valdez is a big celebrity in The Philippines, having a big fan base spread all over the country. She has over a million followers in Instagram:
