Italian Women’s Serie A Week 14 Update
This week of league play, the top teams continued to impress with 3-0 wins. Savino Del Bene Scandicci was able to recapture its 3rd place standing with a 3-1 win over Saugella Team Monza, however, Igor Gorgonzola Novara and Imoco Volley Conegliano still lead by a comfortable margin. The middle of the pack has tightened up with 2 teams, Saugella Team Monza and myCicero Volley Pesaro at 22 points with Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena right behind at 21 points. With new transfers in to the league including recent American college graduates Chiaka Ogbogu, Simone Lee and Symone Abbott, teams will be aiming to climb the ranks with new personnel.
