The Southeastern Conference has announced its television schedule for the 2017 volleyball season. In addition to several matches which will be streamed on SEC Network +, the conference is set for live matches on SEC Network and ESPNU every Wednesday and on SEC Network each Friday. The slate includes 11 ESPNU matches and 31 SEC Network events.
The conference also announced the addition of VERT Technology to some coverage, which will “allow fans to see more detailed replays, including a display and information on how high an athlete jumps.”
The 2017 TV slate begins on August 25 with the VERT Challenge Tournament, which will pit Florida against Nebraska, Oregon and Texas. The Gators, which were Co-SEC Champions with Missouri in 2016, are set for 11 TV outings, including two on opening weekend.
