ATLANTA, Ga. – The second round of ASUN Conference Volleyball matches hits full swing this weekend, as all nine programs will have started the second half of league play by weekend’s end.
After Kennesaw State’s huge road victory at Lipscomb on Wednesday, the Owls maintained sole possession of first place, holding a one game lead over FGCU. The Owls come home this weekend with matches against NJIT and North Alabama. Second place FGCU also gets some home cooking this weekend, as they play host to North Florida and Jacksonville, two teams they swept earlier this season. Lipscomb has a lone game this weekend against NJIT, before visiting North Alabama next Tuesday night.
Liberty continues its nine-game homestand this weekend with matches against both River City schools, Jacksonville and North Florida. The Flames earned their first ASUN wins over both squads earlier last month. Stetson has this weekend off, before welcoming two of the conferences’ best teams in Kennesaw State and Lipscomb next weekend.
