Cleveland State was tops in blocks per set (3.90), while Delaware led the way in digs per set (24.36). North Texas was the most efficient offensively (.436), while Notre Dame is tops in aces per set (2.78).
UC Riverside’s Kaiulani Ahuna, the VolleyMob Week 1 Player of the Week, notched 6.67 kills per set and 6.96 points per set, ranking first in both categories.
TCU’s Tori Dilfer has dished out a nation’s best 13.23 assists per set.
Morehead State’s Maddie Fella put up an NCAA best 2.33 blocks per set, while Michigan’s Jenna Lerg, a VolleyMob Honorable Mention selection was the best in the backcourt with 8.67 digs per set.
Loyola Marymount’s Emma Johnson hit .703 in the Lions’ three matches, hitting .875 (7-0-8) vs. Rhode Island, .533 (10-2-15) against Hofstra and .786 (11-0-14) at Temple.
Western Carolina’s Sydney Carlson was tops in aces per set (1.29), while UC Irvine’s Abby Marajama and San Diego State’s Ashlynn Dunbar piled up the most perfect serves with 14 apiece.
The country also saw six triples doubles, including two by Northern Kentucky rookie setter Miranda Wucherer. Rounding out the list of players with triple doubles were: Cassidy Ceriani (Canisius), Maggie Gibson (IUPUI), Devin Corah (LaSalle) and Margherita Bianchin (FIU).
