Golden Again! USA Sews Up NORCECA Girls U-18 Title vs. Canada
The United States won its eighth NORCECA continental title without losing a set in five matches, besting border foe Canada in three sets Saturday night in front of a packed crowd.
USA, Canada Girls Punch Tickets to U-18 World Championships
With the top two teams earning spots in the U18 World Championships in Egypt, Friday’s semifinals had an added level of pressure. In the end, the United States and Canada rose to the occasion and punched their tickets. The Americans cruised to a sweep, while Canada had to rally for a five-set win to move on.
USA Volleyball Announces Girls’ Youth National Team Roster
The team will compete in the 2018 NORCECA Girls’ U18 Continental Championship Aug. 25 to Sept. 2 in Honduras. The top two countries in the NORCECA event will qualify for the 2019 FIVB Girls’ U18 World Championship
