Friday night’s grind in Conference USA came down to the final points of the final set before UTSA held on for a 3-2 (25-19, 18-25, 24-26, 25-19, 15-13) victory over Charlotte. The five-setter became a new school-record for Charlotte playing in their 11th of the year in 24 matches.
