#4 UC IRVINE DEF. #8 CSUN 3-0, (25-18, 25-23, 25-20)

UC Irvine men’s volleyball posted 36 kills as a team in a straight set victory on Saturday as they moved past CSUN. Karl Apfelbach led the Anteaters with 12 kills and just one error, hitting .524. Eric Chance had a productive night for the Matadors, hitting .700 with eight kills.

#14 CONCORDIA-IRVINE DEF. #19 USC 3-1, (25-22, 19-25, 30-28, 25-14)

The Concordia-Irvine men’s volleyball team defeated USC in four sets on Saturday in Irvine, California. Raymond Barsemian and Jonathan Predney both recorded double figure kills. Barsemian posted 17 kills on a .290 clip, while Predney tabbed 12 kills, hitting .156.

#1 LBSU DEF. UCSD 3-0, (25-21, 25-18, 25-13)

LBSU men’s volleyball recorded yet another sweep on Saturday, defeating UCSD in Walter Pyramid. TJ DeFalco carried the offense with 10 kills and zero errors for a .625 hitting percentage. Kyle Ensing also had 10 kills, but on a .571 clip. The 49ers hit .452 on the match.

#9 HAWAII DEF. #11 UCSB 3-1, (25-20, 25-27, 25-21, 25-14)

The Hawaii men’s volleyball team earned a tough fought win over UCSB, handing the Gauchos their first ever home series loss to the Rainbow Wahine. Rado Parapunov led the offense for Hawaii, putting away 20 kills on a .368 clip. Stijn van Tilburg posted 14 kills on a .258 hitting percentage, and Brett Rosenmeier also tabbed double figure kills with 10 on a .308 attack.

#3 UCLA DEF. #2 BYU 3-0, (25-21, 25-23, 25-22)

UCLA men’s volleyball swept BYU Saturday night at Pauley Pavilion. Jake Arnitz and Daenan Gyimah fueled the offense with 12 kills a piece, hitting .500 and .625, respectively. The Bruins hit .400 as a team and recorded 21 digs.
