The Italian blog VolleyPeople is hosting a free photo competition, searching for the best unpublished photos of action, faces and characters on the volleyball court.
The competition is open to all amateur and professional photographers around the world. Competitors may submit up to three unpublished and original digital photos for the contest.
Submissions will be accepted until 7 p.m. on Sept. 30, 2018.
Details
- Photos must be in jpeg format, minimum 300 dpi, with the file size not exceeding 6 MB.
- Files must be named Last Name_Initial_Image Number. For example: Verdi_A_001 followed by Verdi_A_002
How to Submit
- Submissions may be sent via email to [email protected].
- The body of the email must include name, date of birth, address and telephone number of the author of the photographer
- A penalty exclusion mentioning “for the reading and acceptance of the whole regulation featured on the blog www.volleypeople.it Instant Volley Contest section” also must be included noting the acception of the contest rules.
Judging
- The jury will be made up of professional sports photographers, journalists and sports personalities.
- The jury will evaluate the photos technically, on originality and on emotional intensity.
Prizes
- The winner of the contest will receive a silver plaque and two tickets to attend a men’s or women’s championship match in Serie A1 during the 2018-19 season.
- Second Place: Silver plaque and VolleyPeople gadgets
- Third Place: Silver plaque and VolleyPeople gadgets
- The 30 best photographs will be selected to create a permanent online gallery at www.volleypeople.it.
- The winners names will be published on the blog and on its social media pages on Oct. 20, 2018.
