The World Tour event in Olsztyn has concluded recently, with Brazilian and German teams securing titles.
For the women, Brazil’s Larissa Franca and Talita Antunes fought through a tough three-set match to take down Canada’s Sarah Pavan/Melissa Humana-Paredes 2-1, (20-22, 21-18, 16-14). The win was a comeback for the pair as they dropped the first set in a tight battle. On the men’s side of the tournament, Germany’s Markus Bockermann/Lars Fluggen defeated the American duo of Ryan Doherty/John Hyden in three-sets 2-1, (21-15, 18-21, 15-11).
