This years first tournament of the Swatch Beach Volleyball Major Series was in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
It was the perfect place to begin the 2017 calendar year, as the courts were right on the beach, with free admission to the tournament, making it easy to watch the competition. This year’s winners came out to be Brazilian’s for both the men and women with Alvaro/Barbosa taking the title for the men and Larissa/Talita taking gold for the women.
