Tournament unbeaten Zenit Kazan and PGE Skra Belchatow will face off on day three of the 2017 FIVB Men’s Club World Championships. Both teams have solidified their place in the semifinals but will play to find out their Final Four seeding.
Zenit Kazan was led by Maxim Mikhaylov with 14 points while Matthew Anderson picked up his performance on day two to put down 10 points in the win. The Russian squad used 13-2 blocks and 4-1 aces to down their opponent and remain undefeated in the competition.
Skra battled to a four-set win over Personal Bolivar on day two behind strong performances from Srecko Lisinac and Bartosz Bednorz who put down 17 points apiece in the win. The Polish side’s blocking and serving also played a big role as they led 13-5 in blocks and 8-3 in aces.
The winner between the two will remain unbeaten in the competition.
