2017 FIVB World Beach Tour – Xiamen

Two-time Olympian Sean Rosenthal and Trevor Crabb have formed a new partnership for 2017, and are playing just their 2nd tournament together this weekend in Xiamen, China.

Below, they talk about the adjustments that both have had to make for the new pairing to work, which includes Rosenthal moving to the right side of the court, whereas he’s been a left-side player for most of his career.

Crabb has never won a tournament on either the FIVB or AVP professional tours, but Rosenthal says that this year will be his first win – a guarantee of sorts from the 36-year old veteran.

Rosenthal has won $1.3 million in his career according to bvbinfo.com, while Crabb’s total is $95,700.

The two will player their Xiamen main draw round of 32 at 12:20 AM Eastern time on Friday morning.
