Russia Sweeps Golds at FIVB U19 Beach World Championships

Russia’s Mariia Boncharova/Maria Voronina rallied past Dutch pair Raisa Schoon/Emi van Driel for the U19 Women’s Beach World title on Sunday, while countrymen Denis Shekunov/Dmitrii Veretiuk won the men’s gold and Alexey Gusev/Pavel Shustrov earned the bronze.

USA Rallies Past Dominican Republic for Pan Am Cup Gold

The United States won its second straight Pan American Cup title, outdoing the Dominican Republic for the second year in a row, rallying for a five-set win. Canada rounded out the podium, taking bronze with a sweep of Brazil.
