Makenzie Kuchmaner Sets NC State Digs Record

With a 32-dig performance in the team’s victory over Notre Dame Sunday afternoon, redshirt junior Makenzie Kuchmaner set the NC State volleyball rally-scoring era record for digs in a 4-set match. It is also the highest single-match total for any ACC player so far this season.

Concordia-St. Paul Takes Over #1 Spot in AVCA Division II Poll

Concordia-St. Paul returned to the top spot in this week’s AVCA Division II Poll after being chosen No. 1 in the preseason. The Golden Bears, who are 13-2 on the season, collected 42 first place votes and 1,191 points.

Dayton senior Lauren Bruns was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Volleyball Player of the Week, while Fordham junior Elise Benjamin and La Salle senior Jensen Sharrits were named Co-Defensive Players of the Week. George Mason freshman Peyton Ehmke was selected as the league’s Rookie of the Week.

UCSB’s Lindsey Ruddins Earns 6th Big West Player of the Week Honor

UCSB’s Lindsey Ruddins became just the 14th player in Big West history with six or more Player of the Week honors. The Gauchos’ Emilia Petrachi was honored as Defensive Player of the Week, while UC Irvine outside hitter Abby Marjama was named Rookie of the Week.
