The Pac-12 awarded USC and Colorado for their upsets over the weekend. The Trojans knocked off then-No. 6 Washington, while the Buffs took out then-No. 12 Oregon.
USC’s Brittany Abercrombie garnered the league’s Offensive Player of the Week nod after averaging 3.71 kills, 1.57 digs and 0.57 blocks per set, while hitting at a .270 clip in wins over the Huskies and Washington State (RV). The senior opposite earned her second straight league honor after notching 13 kills in each match. Against WSU, the Carlsbad, California, native added three blocks and three digs. In the upset of UW, Abercrombie hit at a .310 clip and put up a season-best eight digs.

Colorado’s Naghede Abu was dubbed Defensive Player of the Week, while teammate Brynna Deluzio earned Freshman of the Week accolades.
Abu, a junior middle blocker, averaged 1.44 blocks per set in wins over Oregon and Oregon State, while also chalking up 2.56 kills per set on a team-leading .435 hitting effort. Against the Beavers, the Riverside, California, native registered 12 kills and four blocks, while hitting at a .579 clip, with just one miscue. In the upset of the Ducks, Abu accounted for 11 kills and nine blocks, while hitting at a .333 clip.
Deluzio dished out 11.22 assists per set, while guiding the Buffs to a .222 hitting percentage. The Windemere, Florida native also chipped in 2.56 digs per set and five aces on the weekend. Against OSU, the rookie notched a career-high 55 assists and 10 digs, while adding four aces, three kills and a block. Against Oregon, Deluzio added another double-double with 46 assists and 13 digs as well as two kills, a block and an ace.
