Adenizia Silva is having a breakout year for Italy’s Serie A1 Scandicci, who currently occupies the third place in league standings behind only Novara and Conegliano. Up until now, she is the league highest scoring middle blocker, with 156 total points (at 3.8 points/set, 14.2 points/game averages) and best blocker at 1.17 blocks/set. To put Adenizia’s performance into perspective, Jaroslava Penkova, who has the second highest blocking average in the league, is only performing at 0.83 stuffs/set, which is 30% less than Adenizia.
But this week, she took to Instagram to communicate her 130k fans a personal moment, her engagement:
You are the best gift of my life, my love! I will always say yes to you, I will be your best friend, your mate, mother of your children, I will always support you, because you are my great love! #therewillbeawedding
