In a 4-set win against Colorado State, Colorado senior Alexa Smith joined the 1,000-career kill club. The 6-1 outside hitter, who hails from Colorado Springs, Colo., is the 16th player in Buffs history to reach the milestone and the second Colorado native to accomplish the feat.

#12 Baylor Battles for UTSA Invite Title

It wasn’t an easy road, but 12th-ranked Baylor battled its way to a UTSA Invitational Tournament team championship with a pair of wins in San Antonio, Texas. The Lady Bears outlasted the Roadrunners in 5 sets on Friday and Virginia Tech in straight sets on Saturday.
