Pool A: #8 Netherlands Flies into FIVB Round 2 at 5-0
8th-ranked Netherlands finished strong in pool play with a sweep of 26th-ranked Mexico and will enter the second round with an undefeated 5-0 mark. 6th-ranked Japan came in second in Pool A, wrapping play at 4-1 following its 3-0 win over 13th-ranked Germany.
Big 12: A Competitive Night of Conference Volleyball
6th-ranked Texas, Texas Tech and Kansas survived tight, 5-set matches to remain undefeated in Big 12 play Wednesday night. Oklahoma also downed Iowa State in 4 sets, halting its 9-mach skid against the Cyclones.
