Brianna Sizemore will Play Beach as Trojan for 2017

Brianna Sizemore transferred from MiraCosta College to USC and will be joining the defending NCAA Champion Trojans on the sand for 2017.

A California local from Carlsbad, Sizemore played as an outside hitter for 2 years for MiraCosta and was named All-Conference First Team her freshman year as well as named All-Region Team as an honorable mention. In the state of California she was 27th in kills with 296. Sizemore played on the #1 line for MiraCosta beach volleyball program and lead the team to the PCAC Championship on sand in 2015.

Last season Sizemore totaled 196 digs in the season and 281 kills for MiraCosta College indoor averaging 3.70 kills per set as an outside hitter and started in all 23 matches for the season.

Sizemore will be starting her junior year at USC on the sand this spring and will be wearing jersey #30. The USC beach team had an overall record of 34-2 and was ranked #1 by the AVCA last year before going on to win the first-offered NCAA Championship.

USC Beach Volleyball’s first game is against UCLA on March 4, 2017 in the Pepperdine Tournament in Malibu California at 11:15 p.m. PT. Click here for the Trojans full beach volleyball schedule.
