Now that the regular 2016 season is over, the teams have been selected for the NCAA volleyball championship tournament. Minnesota proved it earned the No. 2 seed in the NCAA tourney after having the biggest upset of the week, defeating No. 1 seed Nebraska in 5 over the weekend. No. 25 Washington State defeated No. 8 UCLA for the second upset in the Top 10. No. 18 Michigan swept rivals No. 14 Michigan State in the last weekend of regular season play.
